Version 4.05 addresses the following:
In earlier 4.0 versions, closing an unmodified page would not unlock the file for other applications. This has been fixed.
Earlier 4.0 versions locked pages for both reading and writing, preventing users from checking out a page in their web browser. This has been fixed— version 4.05 locks pages for writing only.
The Delete key now performs a Cut operation.
Sometimes users leave their "URL" dialog on a second monitor, disconnect the second monitor, restart Mapedit and wonder where the URL dialog went. Version 4.05 does its best to prevent this. Of course, if your computer still thinks the monitor is connected, Mapedit does too. So if you can't see your URL dialog, try reconnecting your second monitor.
